500w isn't too far off of what you need, but generic pre-built PSU are cheap so. Wear and tear eats at the PSU with time then you put a Graphics card with twice the draw or something and it can't keep up. Generally to save money pre-built computers keep the PSUs as close to the borderline as possible to maximize profits. But im not an expert of hardware so i’m not sure at all So i think after my pc had been overheating that time, it affected my psu making it unable two supply power stable/good enough to run games.īut when PSU’s are overloaded generally does the whole pc shut off or just crash the computer and stay on like mine does? Because for me it feels strange to me that the windows would still run when overloaded. The pc has been shutting down unexpectedly when running games with high frames or high graphics in a similar way that it does now but not as worse as it is now. I should have mentioned it before but my pc have shutdown unexpectedly sometimes when playing games on high graphics settings so i guess the psu is crap and it just got worse over time.Įdit: also my pc has unexpectedly shut down from a few weeks after i got the pc. I usually stream and play games on the same pc. First time i have put a high load on this pc was the first/second day after i got it which was about 3 months ago.

The PSU is rated at 500W and it’s a HP 500W 80 plus gold dps-500AB-32 A. My important documents are synced in cloud alreadyĪlright so my pc is prebuilt as i said at the top of this thread and i haven’t switched out any components except having a hdd or a fan temporarily but they have been removed long ago.

Is there anything i can do before i have to reset my pc (its just i have so much stuff to download afterwards and i dont have a drive to tranfser my documens. Scan and Repair Call of duty (other games crash so it cant be the game files)

I have checked Event Viewer and the last warnings says: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.Ĭheck for driver update and reinstalling the driver since I already had the newest version So i have to force the pc to shutdown with the power button or else if i just use the normal shutdown method with the button on the case and then start it up again then i just get a black screen with a line of pixels glowing up. I cant restart my gpu by the Win+CTRL+Shift+B shortcut. Sometimes i hear a warning notification but i cant see it of course. It worked but now, i cant even start a round in Call of duty and Hyper scape before my two monitors looses signal and just stays like that. I suddenly realized I had changed the position of my fan so I made sure the pc was of and switched it back as it was before. My pc suddenly shut of while i was streaming to twitch and i noticed my pc was very hot by feeling the warm metal case. Today I launched Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. SSD: around 500gb but has low space left but i don’t think it has to to anything with this problemīIOS: i have the newest version installed
